It is an original hand-painted oil on stretched canvas, made to order in our collective. The brown hat and gingham shirt are worked with a palette knife, so the ridged surface and thin cream ground are real paint, not a reproduction.
The warm browns and tans feel lived-in, so it works in a study, a hallway, or above a leather chair. It sits easily with vintage and mid-century furniture, worn wood, and other earth-toned pieces.
