It is an original hand-painted oil on stretched canvas, made to order in our collective. The brown horse, the trough, and the cowgirl are built in thick knife strokes over a cream ground, so the ridged texture is genuine paint rather than a reproduction.
The long 16:9 format and heavy impasto suit a horizontal wall, above a sofa, a console, or a bench in a study or den. The warm chocolate and rust pair naturally with leather, oak, and woven rugs.
