It is an original hand-painted oil on stretched canvas, made to order in our collective. The navy cacti and ochre ground are knifed on in thick strokes, so the ridged surface and small variations are genuine paint rather than a reproduction.
The 16:9 landscape shape suits a horizontal wall, so it works above a sofa, in a living room, or on a dining wall. The golden ochre warms a room while the navy cacti give it cool punctuation, pairing well with walnut and brass.
