It is an original hand-painted oil on stretched canvas, made to order in our collective. The navy hat and harlequin bodice are laid on in thick knife strokes, so the ridged surface and ochre ground are genuine paint rather than a reproduction.
The navy, oxblood, and ochre read deep and warm, so it anchors a study, a dining corner, or an entryway. It pairs well with walnut, brass, and leather, and gives a neutral room one rich point of colour to settle on.
