It is an original hand-painted oil on stretched canvas, made to order by a painter in our collective. The figure and pigeons are brushed by hand on a worked ochre ground, so the drag marks and small variations are genuine paint, not a reproduction.
The warm ochre and single cool teal coat make it easy company for a hallway, a reading corner, or a kitchen wall. It pairs well with wood, woven baskets, and other warm earth tones, and the calm scene reads quietly rather than loudly.
