It is an original hand-painted oil on stretched canvas, made to order in our collective. The leather saddle and folded bandana are knifed and brushed on in thick passes, so the ridged surface and cream ground are genuine paint rather than a reproduction.
The warm browns and tan feel worn and leathery, so it works in a study, an entryway, or above a console. It pairs well with vintage wood, leather, and other earth-toned furnishings, and gives a wall a quiet object study.
