It is an original hand-painted oil on stretched canvas, made to order in our collective. The floppy hat, striped bodice, and fringe are troweled on with a palette knife, so the thick ridges and flecked brim are genuine paint with their own variations, not a print.
The slate navy on warm ochre reads calm and earthy with one cool note, so it suits a bedroom, a dressing area, or a hallway. It pairs well with rattan, walnut, and warm woven textures, and the heavy surface rewards close viewing.
